About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Claims Handler to join a growing EL/PL team within a modern and ambitious legal environment.
You’ll support the handling of a varied caseload of employer’s liability and public liability matters, working closely with experienced fee earners while developing your own technical understanding. The role offers strong exposure to litigation processes and client interaction, making it ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in this space.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting with the management of EL/PL claims, supporting fee earners on a range of matters
Handling your own caseload of lower-value or less complex claims where appropriate
Reviewing case documentation and assisting with liability and quantum assessments
Drafting basic legal documents and correspondence
Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts, and other third parties
Ensuring files are kept up to date and managed in line with internal procedures
Supporting the progression of claims through the litigation process where required
Working to deadlines and performance targets within a busy team environment
