About the Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced and commercially focused finance professional to play a key role in the growth of an expanding Outsourced Finance function.
Operating at Director level, you’ll act as a strategic partner to a portfolio of clients typically owner-managed businesses and growing organisations providing high-level financial leadership and insight. The role combines hands-on advisory with broader commercial responsibility, giving you the opportunity to influence business performance, support decision-making, and help clients build scalable, effective finance functions.
Alongside client delivery, you’ll play an active role in developing the service line contributing to growth, shaping offerings, and building a strong market presence. With a clear route for progression, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact both internally and externally.
What You'll Be Doing
Acting as a senior financial lead for a portfolio of clients, providing strategic oversight, commercial insight, and decision support to business owners and leadership teams
Delivering clear analysis around financial performance, including cash flow, profitability, and operational efficiency, helping clients make informed decisions
Supporting clients in building robust finance functions, including reporting frameworks, controls, and scalable processes
Acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact, ensuring a consistently high standard of service across all engagements
Leading client relationships end-to-end, maintaining strong, long-term partnerships and overseeing overall engagement quality
Identifying client needs and ensuring appropriate solutions are delivered across finance, reporting, and compliance services
Taking responsibility for developing and growing a client portfolio, increasing both value and breadth of relationships
Identifying and converting new business opportunities through your network, referrals, and market presence
Leading on proposals, onboarding, and commercial discussions, including scope, pricing, and engagement structuring
Mentoring and developing Managers and senior team members, setting clear objectives and supporting progression
Building a high-performing, collaborative team environment, supporting both performance and retention
Working closely with senior leadership to contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the outsourced finance offering
Monitoring performance across your portfolio and team, ensuring delivery against commercial and operational objectives
Representing the firm externally, building a strong network and enhancing market presence through meetings and events
