About the Firm
Our client is a Top 40 accountancy and advisory business with a long-standing reputation for supporting a diverse client base, from entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals to ambitious owner-managed businesses and international groups.
With a heritage spanning over a century, the firm has evolved into a modern, forward-thinking organisation that combines technical excellence with a genuinely people-first approach. They are values-led, with a strong focus on sustainability, transparency, and responsible business practices.
As part of an established international network, they offer both local expertise and global reach, enabling them to support clients across increasingly complex and cross-border environments.
Having already established a presence in the North East, the firm is now making a significant investment in the region, building out a specialist team and creating a genuine hub of expertise. This represents a rare opportunity to join at a key stage of growth and play a visible role in shaping the team’s future.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant looking to build on their existing knowledge and develop in a high-quality, professional environment. You’ll continue your studies alongside gaining hands-on experience, applying theory to real client work from day one.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll be responsible for completing a range of accounting tasks with accuracy and in line with relevant standards, developing a strong foundation in both technical delivery and compliance. Attention to detail will be key, as will your ability to manage your workload effectively.
You’ll be supported by more experienced team members, giving you the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and progressively take on more responsibility as your confidence and capability grow.
Joining at a key stage of the firm’s regional growth, you’ll also have the chance to be part of something being built, gaining exposure, responsibility, and progression opportunities that aren’t always available in more established teams.
