About the Role

This is a key role within the accounts team, offering the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio while leading and developing a team.

You’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality accounting services, ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory standards and client expectations. Alongside managing client relationships, you’ll play an important role in supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping to drive both performance and development.

With a strong focus on client service and team collaboration, this role offers a balance of technical, managerial, and commercial responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from straightforward assignments to large and complex engagements

  • Taking responsibility for the timely completion and submission of financial statements, business tax, and personal tax returns

  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and readiness for client delivery

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, resolving more complex queries and maintaining strong working relationships

  • Leading and supporting junior team members, including conducting 1:1s and performance reviews

  • Attending and contributing to client meetings alongside senior stakeholders

  • Building and maintaining professional networks, supporting business development and generating new opportunities
